The last day of spring was very warm and humid and not one for enjoyable running. However, 85 keen people turned out for a walk/jog/run around the south east parklands and nearby streets on great courses set out by Will and Andrew Kennedy. For many it would have been a chance to catch up with the ever changing face of the old Vic Park racecourse catering as it does for both horses and horse-power. And the map will benefit from the new wetlands - eventually. Thanks to Mel and Jane Fuller for helping out and for their impromptu sausage sizzle which I am told is planned to be on hand at the future summer events. Frank Tomas Event Organiser
