Several entrants had to cancel due to illness, work commitments etc., reducing participants on the day. What a great day for orienteering with fine weather and pleasant temperature. Jennifer Strack a keen newcomer to the sport, missed her first control but managed to complete the rest of the moderate course and then pick up her first control. Jennifer is on a steep learning curve so look out for her in the future at foot and MTBO events.
