So many wonderful comments from so many people that I had not seen before, and for many of them this was their first Mountain Bike Orienteering event. Of course the glorious fine weather was on schedule - so all missed out on the usual mud puddles. This is a most successful result to have about 65 riders at a come-and-try-it type event. There were ages from about 10 to 70+ and both women and men. A feature of the day was the intricate network of spider webs across most tracks complete with beautiful big spiders - but all quite friendly. Also saw 2 wild dogs or dingoes. Special thanks to the control collectors after the event - Graeme Hall, David Firman, Dave Bright, Bruce Campbell, Hub Carter and some helpers.
