A showery mild morning turned into a cool bleak afternoon to greet the arrival of those that ventured to contest the warmup to the OY event. It was pleasing to see that almost all of those who pre-entered managed to attend, although some a little late. Unfortunately the need to collect controls with limited daylight hours prevented so of the late arrivals having to complete their courses in limited time.'' Hopefully this did not inconvinence those concerned too much. The June date allowed less daylight hours than previous years.
