This event came about through an initiative of the Moreton Bay Regional Council, making one of a number of activities organized for young families within the district across Sundays in February. Many of the registered ‘Outdoor Adventure Family’ runners had their first taste of Orienteering – and finished two or more courses during the morning. Some other newcomers, and a handful of regular runners, also ventured out onto the new 1:5K map – recently drafted by Geoff Peck. Thanks to Matt D for setting the courses – plus Paula, Katie, Jacqui, Rob R and Jim B for their assistance on the day. All going well this day may appear as a regular addition to the Enoggeroos calendar in future seasons.
