Day 2 of the Qld QBIII started with heavy rain in the region but by starting time some blue sky appeared and the showers stopped. A mass start saw all runners heading into the forest tasked with a multiple loop Hageby event. In Red 1, Mark Gregson led from start to finish to win by several minutes with Steve and Anna battling for second. Trent Blinco again took out Red 2 - but only just with Su Yan Tay close behind. Clive Pope recorded a win in Red 3 and Lachlan McIntyre won the battle of the juniors in orange. Thanks to the Cyclones for another fun event - and to the gods for keeping the rain away!
