Great to see so many people brave the rainy conditions. It was an exciting finish to the series and a very social, if wet, BBQ afterwards. Thanks to everyone who helped out and who stayed, despite the weather. It was a really exciting finish in the Long event, with Ben Hiley just edging out Riley de Jong by 12 seconds. Toby Brennan had a comfortable win in the Medium, despite running up and down a few streets to find the last control after his map had disintegrated. His only clues were the control descriptions and a faint memory! Unfortunately no women finished all 3 of the long and medium courses. Jess Rogers had a great run in the Race 3, but was unable to make up the gap in the Women’s Short, with the win going to Bronte Gannon. In the absence of Grant and Blake Reinbott, Harry Jensen just needed to have a steady run and took out the Men’s Short. Certificates were also presented to Tom Ronnfeldt and Sam Anderson for organizing Races 1 and 2.
