An enjoyable day’s competition, and socializing, at Banyo. Overall winners Toohey Forest (0.767 points per member), from Enoggeroos (0.724) and Ugly Gully (0.450). Toohey Forest regain the Golden O-shoe trophy after a hiatus of 11 years. Forensic examination of the punch-cards has revealed a few discrepancies !, certainly with Control 1 on Long A and a number of questionable punch-patterns elsewhere. As is, the results will stand – as the majority of potential DSQs come from EN and UG this would only see TFs winning margin extended. Many thanks to Paula and Margery for their help on the Finish desk, to Hunter for catering and cooking, Dave F, Jim and Lynda for collecting controls and notably to ACU for their co-operation with the venue.
